“Googleの終わりの始まりはYoutube買収だったと思う。
それまでのGoogleの買収は、自社にないものを補うためのものだった。
でも当時、Youtubeと同ジャンルのサービスとしてGoogleVideoが既に存在した。
自社サービスを補うための買収ではなく競合を潰すための買収。
そういった点であの買収は当時のGoogleにとって異質なもの。

GoogleBuzzがコケたGoogleは、今度はtwitterを買収して競合他者を圧倒するのかな。
“Don’t be evil”とはよくいったものだ。
